You’ve made it through another a year. A year of challenges, trials, joys and smiles. Yes, you made it - by God’s amazing grace! And now a new one, blemish free with all sorts of possibilities and miracles awaits you and I. This year I have chosen a word to be a guiding light of sorts. A word to remind me to live wholeheartedly, to live more meaningfully.
My word for 2019 is THRIVE, and here’s why...I want to stop just surviving. We should all pursue getting out of survival mode and stepping up and into a thriving life. Are you willing to join me in thriving in 2019? Our creator, our big, wonderful miracle-making, heart-mending, life-giving God believes in us and wants us to THRIVE! He wants us to truly live the life He intended each of us to live, to really prosper and grow and flourish and make a difference in this world. To be more, serve more, give more, to receive more and to love more. That’s the year of thriving that’s ahead.
Let’s pray and ask our ever-present and never-changing God to increase and enlarge our hearts, our minds and our faith to THRIVE with the possibilities and opportunities that he presents us with this year.
